Giannis Antetokounmpo misses Game 3 with lower back contusion

Giannis Antetokounmpo, a star player for Giannis Antetokounmpo, the star player of the Milwaukee Bucks, was unable to play during Game 3 of the NBA's Miami Heat due to a lower back injury. It was the second game in succession that he missed and his last appearance was in Game 1 which he was injured. Although the team's Coach, Mike Budenholzer, expressed optimism earlier in the week concerning Antetokounmpo's development, he is still not fully ready to take on the role. The Bucks lost the game by 121-99.

In the first game, Antetokounmpo played for just 11 minutes before he was taken off because of his mobility issues due to the injury. Antetokounmpo hasn't practiced with the team since then but did some private work at the basketball court last Friday. Before playing, the player was spotted stretching out with the trainer personnel and walking toward the team bus, with his back iced and taped. Even though he was listed as doubtful, he was not present for the game.

The Bucks won Game 2 of the series, without Antetokounmpo, and scored a record-breaking 25 3-pointers in a win of 138-122. Incredibly, the Bucks are 3-1 in playoff games when Antetokounmpo was not on the court. But they will surely wish to have Antetokounmpo return to the court as quickly as possible, as they begin their playoffs.
